I'm moving to Torx, fed up with rounding hex bits & heads.

Just went to Torx with M5 screws on 1/5 cars. Might move to torx with M4 screws over time.

Seems to make most sense to me to start change with one size.

Personally I find torx to be useful for a loose hex head, it's my go-to if all else fails.
whack in the largest torx you can fit, then hope to christ you can break the bolt free.
I have decent allen keys but it's not like they're infallible.
Great tip here! Used a T8 to get a stuck pinion set screw today after reading this.

With Torx bits u have more surface area but when bolts are very tight u have a greater chance to break the teeth off of the bit drivers. With a hex bit they are much stronger and less prone to break. I only use torx bits on rounded hex’s and pound them in and hit it with a impact. Just my 2 cents
