So Ive been looking for the last hour for a 3.8 smoothed/ripped front sand/snow tire I can put on a 1/8 scale basher, seems like people only sell them for 1/10 scale ? Can’t find anything bigger than a 2.6? I find it hard to believe nobody sells these in a 3.8… any info helps, thanks

Most 1/8 are 4x4 soooooo there's that. Why not just run the paddles on front too?

running paddles on the front degrades the handling and performance, it messes up the terrain for the rear paddles to grab, when all the weight igoes on the rear to begin with, also these are large paddles, doesn’t steer as well as it would with a ripped smooth tire

While those are valid points I still think you would be faster and handle better in 4x4 with paddles in the front. The extra forward bite would pull you through turns and probably make up for the ruined terrain for the rears. Not saying it wouldn't be cool and I hope you find some but in practice 4x4 in sand is usually better. Were you planning on running in 2x?

No sand it’s for snow, also another huge reason, it absolutely fills the chassis with snow completely packed, even with the tight body of the fireteam, however when I run the stock tires in the front, barely any snow gets in, and it just honestly handles better, and yes I could just use the stock tires for the front, but I’d prefer to have a matching set of ribbed sand fronts,
