What’s wrong that my stock infraction Spektrum receiver activates both servos at time , the steering port and the Aux1 port 3 channel (which is the center brake) I can’t run that brake, and it blew that servo before I realized it. I’m using stock radio and feel like it could be the radio. I have other radios but not wanting to lose this bind. I just hate I can’t run the brake could be a great feature. Any clues gang? Also what if I replace the receiver with a Spektrum SR3100 will I still have a smart receiver? Anybody have any ideas.

When I steer the wheels , both servos are activated. The steering servo and the center brake servo. It’s signaling both ports on the receiver at same time. I imagine this blew the brake servo before I realized it was over functioning. I found this out when I was testing a new servo. Thx but The third channel brake button doesn’t effect it at all. Because it’s linked to the steering channel somehow. I would like to ditch receiver but it might be the radio? I want to keep the radio so I can have the kid drive it while I run my new Limitless castle build. Nobody has ever had this happen I guess. At least it’s not a common problem.

You could get a replacement radio link setup. Really good and budget friendly.

Yup, I do😁 and I believe a lot of others on this forum use that brand. Two things, if you're used to where the "hand brake" button is, it is in a different place than stock, and the gyro will over correct and cause death wobble if you turn it up to high.

Okay , good information and sounds real reasonable . I’ll give it a go ..but first, since you’re up on this subject, do you know if there is a step up better or more popular “radio link “ that some infraction guys are turning seems like these radios are in the Nice price range. Maybe this infraction radio is the issue , I already replaced the original new receiver because it wouldn’t bind, as via the seller provided it after our phone call to help bind.

The RL RC6GS is what a lot of guys use due to the 600m range and is only about $20 more than the one posted above. I bought one recently and have 8 or 9 of my cars on it so far. I like it more than my stock Traxxas and Arrma Radios for some of the cars as it has a lot of really powerful settings/features like Steering and Throttle Expo but might be converting some of my drag-specific cars back/over to the Traxxas TQi radio for the 'Trans Brake' feature. The RC6GS has a 'Throttle Lock' feature that can double as a Trans Brake but it sometimes locks the throttle for cruise control instead of acting as a Trans Brake.
