How much for all of it
Let me guess he was selling the car as a whole l recently? Lmao my bad if he was I haven’t been on here in a month or moreWhen I saw that you're parting it out I, half joking/half serious, thought to myself, "I bet now someone will ask for the whole car..."
Unbelievable...
It’s the 2400kvThe 1721’s are $209.00 (1650kv) and $239.00 (Extreme 2400kv) on the Castle site, brand new. Just saying, if it’s the Extreme 2400kv then it might be worth the extra $20.00 for someone to have a warranty. I’m assuming it is the 2400? Would you be open to offers?
Yes all new just mounted never ranI’ll take some stuff!
Scorched shock towers
Scorched front splitter
Scorched titanium splitter screws
All new correct?
I think you might be confusing/conflating the 1717 and the 1721. There are two flavors of the 1717 (1260 & 1650 KV) whereas there is only one version of the 1721 (2400KV).The 1721’s are $209.00 (1650kv) and $239.00 (Extreme 2400kv) on the Castle site, brand new. You get my pm?Ill take the servo mount and battery buckles
There's a new 2028 which is 1700KV also...just for info. DishDoctor was using it a 5th scale and got over 100.I think you might be confusing/conflating the 1717 and the 1721. There are two flavors of the 1717 (1260 & 1650 KV) whereas there is only one version of the 1721 (2400KV).
The 1717 has a 5mm shaft and a Kevlar wrapped rotor. The 1721 has an 8mm shaft and a stainless steel cased rotor. They have the same diameter (49mm) but the 1717 and 1721 are 85mm and 101mm in length respectively.

Thank you, I absolutely was merging the two together. I mistakenly thought the 1717 was a 1650kv 1721.I think you might be confusing/conflating the 1717 and the 1721. There are two flavors of the 1717 (1260 & 1650 KV) whereas there is only one version of the 1721 (2400KV).

Yeah, I'm aware. I was pointing out that there is only one flavor of the 1721 and two flavors of the 1717 and not the other way around. There's a new 2028 which is 1700KV also...just for info. DishDoctor was using it a 5th scale and got over 100.
It's worth noting that the 1721 is precluded from any sort of warranty due to its "extreme nature" as Castle says. It comes with a letter saying that it has no warranty in the box.The 1721’s are $209.00 (1650kv) and $239.00 (Extreme 2400kv) on the Castle site, brand new. I didn’t know that. When you read the Castle site, it sort of implies that the warranty is more limited, but not nonexistent. Lack of warranty being noted, have there been problems out of the norm with this motor or are they generally considered to be reliable? It's worth noting that the 1721 is precluded from any sort of warranty due to its "extreme nature" as Castle says. While the 1721 and the new 1700KV 2028 motors do not have a warranty, the way they're constructed should improve reliability when compared with their "consumer" motors if we can adopt the term for the moment. The stainless steel sleeve of the rotor is what allows for much higher max RPM limits (the same goes for the CM series motors from TP). At first I had reservations about getting the 1721 because of the lack of a warranty. But I've had zero issues with that motor. It never misses a beat. I've only run it on 3S and 4S so far and, if you were to stick to that (or even 6S) I feel like this motor could soldier on forever. I'm sure that isn't the case, but it feels like it. I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you can. I'd honestly be shocked if you regretted it after trying it out.I didn’t know that. I'm assuming that it's sensored as well? Would you recommend the 1721 over the tp 4060cm 2610kv that I have in my speed runner? While the 1721 and the new 1700KV 2028 motors do not have a warranty, the way they're constructed should improve reliability when compared with their "consumer" motors if we can adopt the term for the moment. I don't think of it in terms like recommending it over something else. They're both good/great motors and I'm certain that both motors are capable of high velocities. I see it more in the context of comparing and contrasting motors. Each motor has a personality, a rev-band, a power-band, etc. and you just tune your setup to, hopefully, maximize what any particular motor can deliver. I think it would be interesting to see how they compare to one another in terms of amp draw at speed x and those kinds of things. At the very top end, sure. One motor will eventually be faster than the other. But since I'm nowhere near maxing anything out, it's of no concern at the time. I just like trying out different motors if I can.I'm assuming that it's sensored as well? Would you recommend the 1721 over the tp 4060cm 2610kv that I have in my speed runner?
