hm interesting build but correct if I am wrong but I seem to remember that extending motor wires is a bad idea - so if you have to, unsolder and use a single wire with the required length - at least as far as I can remember - especially on >= 6S systems

I believe cutting esc wires is a no and tbh I can't run much shorter motor is hard wired and wires are set length supplied with esc

"If you choose to direct solder or to shorten the motor wires, you may do so on the Castle
Creations 14XX series, 15XX series, and 2028 motors only. DO NOT CUT any part of the wire
length from any other motor, regardless of brand or type. In most cases, only the last 1/4 inch
or so of the motor wires are able to be soldered."

Well went out for a quick test run with both cars today and I must say I enjoyed the infraction by a mile it just seems more planted I managed to get 95mph and ran pretty nice I didnt hold for too long.
Need to invest in a new go pro either that my batteries are goosed

Got my K probe hooked up to the motor so I can quickly and easily keep an eye on temps without removing bodyshell

Are you using x2-3s batteries? I couldn't tell.

I wanted to use a motor larger than 4274 in my infraction build but I can't seem to find one (yet) that is sensored.

OK so had the Infraction out again today... Man I love this rc....
First 100mph pass is below sorry about the length but using phone atm with custom wiper mount....

What are your plans 6s 8s speed or drift spec? Sensored motors are OK for pulling off like even the new MMx8s on sensored mode I believe changes to non- sensored after its gets moving

"When paired with a Castle 4-POLE 12-SLOT SENSORED MOTOR such as the 2028-800KV or 1515-2200KV, users with heavy, high speed rigs will experience controllable low-end ranges without sacrificing power, punch or speed. SmartSense™ mode uses the motor’s sensors to start the motor to provide smooth starts, excellent torque, and low-speed drivability. Once the motor is spinning, it seamlessly transitions to Castle’s ultra-efficient sensorless mode. You’ll put more power to the ground, where it should be, instead of wasting it through raw heat and RPMs"

I'm definitely looking at 6s drift spec/setup with the ability to switch pinions for some random speeding. I also plan to use the buggy exabyte tires for some off-road action because I'm not too close to many manicured surfaces.

Nice pass. That was a windy day and a busy road. You’ve hit my PB already ????

Just keeping the thread updated pretty lucky with this and cant believ how it landed.

OK messed about tonight and came up with this this not expecting much from it
for a long period of time with the esc but what the heck.. 12s 6amp or 12amp 6s graphine powered Tp speed or bash if it lasts been too wet today to try it out.

I think this is going to need some hard compounds as the spare set of hoons didnt last but ooohfff.... I need more room to practice..

Bit of grass action on 4s ran a full set of packs no probs temps seemed good all round and 55mph max on the grass was decent. Just a quick vid!

Grass!! That's awesome! I picked up some arrma buggy exabyte tires when I got my limitless for that purpose. Nice to see it's not "all on-road" hehehe.
