A component that I mostly ignored during the past racing season was the rear wing. Whenever the end plates would get deformed, or pulled out, or when the wing itself gets damaged or destroyed I would just replace it with the endless supply of stock parts from Jennys.
Many upgrade parts are available but for the next race, I decided to go try the Integy kit. I will install it on all 3 cars.
Some assembly involved:
Itās hard to fit the MIP driver into the screws so you have to wedge it in.
The holes on the top/back part of the wing are drilled closer to one side than the other. You want the shorter side on the bottom:
Fins:
End plates:
It comes with a weight penalty - the stock parts weigh just 106 g. Integy comes in at 150 g.
Over all, the assembly and installation was a breeze. It is a direct bolt on, if you are using their wing. If you just want to use their end plates the holes for the wing are in the wrong place so you will need to drill new ones.
The parts hopefully hold up better than stock to some light to medium abuse (turning turtle would probably be the worst crash scenario). I will see soon what impact it has on lap times and handling.
Anyone with experience with this kit please weigh in.
