Heyo!

My ESC ON/OFF switch broke off so I soldered the on/off wires together... mid jump - true story, anyway.

My question is would I be able to replace it with any typical "ON/OFF" switch of my choice or would it be highly suggested to just replace the ESC to get an ON/OFF switch back?

Thanks!

New ESC is overkill. Any switch will do as long as you wire it correct. Switch does nothing more than break the connection and gives you a convenient way to make contact again. Nothing wrong with leaving it soldered either.
Any switch will do. Only if you want to get the programming button to work, it will be better to have a suitable switch.

I'd get something like these:

I ordered the DUST PROOF switch from that link, Oklahoma is a dusty place so it made sense.

Thank you for your recommendation! :)
