Is it safe to run the S905 Servo at 8.4 volts?

I have a kraton 8s v1, and the servo was never really the best to begin with. I saw in the manual you can bump the BEC voltage up to 8.4 volts, so I did; it completely changed the performance of the servo. It was a lot more enjoyable to drive, but I'm worried since I can't seem to find much info on the S905 being rated at 8.4 volts. I know I should probably just upgrade the servo, but I want to get as much out of the stocker as I can.

Everything I find just says specs @6v and @7.2v, I imagine if it were rated up to 8.4v it would give specs for that. You could always email horizon and ask.

Will do, I just noticed on the v2 (or v 1.5 and 1.75 as some people say), have the same servo, but it has way better performance. So I'd assume they just increased the voltage to the stock servo. I will email Horizon though and ask them about it.

It works but the the powers that be say it reduces the life of your servo.
