I just got a set of ZD racing shocks and when I took the caps off to shorten them a couple of the bladders came out and I can't figure out how to get them back in. They keep getting all folded up in the cap. Is there a trick for putting them back in? I've been at it for about 20min.

I don't think they are inside out. Here's a picture of the front and back of the bladder and a picture of one that didn't get pulled out.

Put the seal on the shock and then try to thread the cap on to the shock

I have had luck with this in the past

Well, while monkeying around with this and trying to get it to seat property I have torn one of the bladders.

Does anyone know what might be a compatible replacement?

Here's the shock I bought for reference https://a.co/df7l8cf

I'll try the put it on the shock first method next.

Alternatively, could I just swap out an o-ring for the bladder and make it an emulsion style shock?

I got a reply back from the Amazon seller and they are sending me a new diaphragm. I'll try the install on the shock barrel first and then install the cap first.

I'm also going to take them to the LHS to see if there is a readily available alternative.
