Hey, it's me, gear mesh problems person. I finally got my new spur gear and now I think I've fixed the mesh? Here's a picture of it. Is it good?

Looks good to me maybe a hairline closer but im no pro but mine is about the same just like 2 hairlines closer

Looks a bit too loose to me.

I prefer relying on the sound and touch rather that vision to properly adjust it.

First, eyeball it (tighter than on your pic), then rock the spur back and forth. You want to hear/feel the clicky sound which indicates there is some play between the spur and the pinion. Try to find the spot where the is no play (this is the too tight position). Back it off a bit such that you have some play and that's it.

The spur gears are often not perfectly round, so make sure you have a tiny bit of play for the whole gear circumference.

+2 Too loose. Could strip the spur that way. Needs to be tighter dude.

Looks a bit loose to me also, but it may be the photo angle and because that spur gear has those rounded edges.

Too loose, also you have to test it by hand with the cover on so that the slipper is centered and held in by the bearings on both sides.
