  1. Kraton 6s
The Kraton arrived yesterday. Looking for some advice.

Is this setting correct for the battery? The battery has a 2c charge rate but charger only goes up to 10amp.

Wouldn't it be 10.4 or 5.2??

Thanks

Yes, that appears to be correct. You don't have to charge at exact C increments (10.4 amps, 5.2 amps). You can charge at 6.0 amps for example if you want. But, yes, balance charging at 6s is correct for that battery.

I charge the 3s version of those batteries at 10 amps.
I think that charger will limit what you can charge so I think 5.2amps maybe 6 is all he will get. I have a rebranded one of those. Not a bad little charge but you have to be patient.

Thanks for the input. So I will charge it at 5.2 amps. I'm not in a hurry.

Do I need to do anything to the battery after I run it ?

Yes, you should do a storage charge on the batteries after running them so that they are between 3.7 and 3.85 volts per cell. The number varies by the charger and some chargers you can change. There should be a dedicated storage charge setting on the charger for this.

you look okay. this is how I have always done it:

Example 1: If your battery is a 5000mAh pack, your 1C charge rate is 5A. (5000÷1000=5)
Example 2: If your battery is 2200mAh your 1C charge rate is 2.2A. (2200÷1000=2.2)
Example 3: If your battery is a 250mAh pack, your 1C rate would be .3. (250÷1000=.25 it’s okay to round up)
