Wondering if pictured below is all that I need to convert my big rock into 17 mm? I obviously realize I would need to get different wheels to complete the project but wanted to make sure there is no other parts. I need such as hubs, ect?

You can do a 3s typhon axle conversion. Haven't done one myself, but there are plenty threads about it that i've seen. I don't know whether you can convert the 3s truck to run the 4s axles though.

+1
This is the way most do it.
Try to convert to 17mm the least expensive way possible.
17mm hexed wheels are a plus because you have much better options. Opens up more choices. And Wheel hubs are more durable.
I don't own any 4x4. But if I did.....

No. These will only fit barrel axles, like on the typhon or 4s outcast/kraton.
So the 4s Kraton/outcast hex and 3s typhon hex are the pretty much same? I’ve been trying to figure that out…

Sorry, i should have clarified that they fit barrel "type" axles. Unsure whether the typhon and 4s axles/driveshafts are the same size and swappable.
Just based on looks from pictures i would venture to guess not. But i'll let others chime in on that.

If you just want 17mm hex's on the Big rock though, I don't think there's any reason to swap to different axles (an expensive mod) when there are much cheaper methods available, such as the ones @K-BASH and I posted above.

I have the hot racing set 17mm converion mentioned. I was not happy with it. I was told by the hobby shop not to use locktight and it came apart during the first run and I lost parts that cost me extra money. Also one of the nuts striped out. The whole thing was a terrible experience. I would get something other than the hot racing.

So to clarify, I would need the picture that I just posted here plus the 17 mm hex adapters that I posted a picture in my original thread? Sorry just trying to keep it straight.

I actually used the 17mm adapters from my Kaiju EXT on the Big Rock. Direct fit and the pins align perfectly with the axle holes. I used the Four (4) axle hub barrel nuts left over from my hot racing 14mm to 17mm conversion kit(s) that were trash. If you can source the hot racing barrel nuts, it’s a great solution. Jennysrc has the kaiju ext hub set for $12. You retain the use of the Big rock cvds/axles. Cv breakage, lug stripping or loosening, wheel wobble, and wheels popping off randomly have been a non-issue for 2weeks running. Cheers

The Kraton/Outcast 4s 17mm hexes are the same hexes on the Typhon 3s (15.2mm). You will also need these Typhon 3s axle stubs to complete the swap. To keep the 17mm hexes attached to the axle, you'll need four (4) 3 x 10mm set screws. These screws should actually come with the Kraton/Outcast hexes IF you buy from Jenny's RC. I say this, because that's how mine came.
