NSDRC has joined the forum and reached out to solve the issue. The servo was shipped out yesterday, and I should have it by Saturday.

I ordered 2 rs450b servos from Amain on June 14th, received them on the 16th. One works fine, no issues. The other was DOA. NSDRC does not have a public phone number, and even Amain cannot contact them, other than through email, and apparently, Amain is unable to handle any warranty work for them per NSDRC 's instructions. I emailed them on the 16th, and did not get a reply until the 21st. The email said to give them my name and address, and they will send a replacement, as well as a label to send back the defective servo. I sent the info back on the 21st, and have heard nothing back from NSDRC. I emailed them again on the 27th, asking if they had sent it out yet, still no response.

That's pitiful!
for a $65 ,I would expect better service.

is simple communication these days with Any ONE of these methods -Phone, Txt, Email, PMs, DMs, Chat
too much to ask?

Thank you for giving us the heads up. 👍

I tried everything to avoid this, but I can't let my Arrma Fam get ripped off like I did. Y'all know I like good servos, and I've had a few NSDRC Servos, and I've been happy with them. But I've never had an issue, until now.

Their servos are usually very good, but with abysmal customer service, I won't be buying any more of their servos. Check out Reefs, Promodeler, or Protek. Their customer service is much better.

Now is the part where I spread the word about my experience to as many people as I can, over a $65 servo.
Thank you. I wish everyone would do this. Real world feedback is worth a lot when you’re in the middle of a decision making process.

Damn that sucks, I can't stand stores that don't want to accept returns. Amain should have taken care of that I don't care what anyone says. You bought a busted product and should have a return window, why do you need to warranty something that's brand new? I would have argued with amain to the death over that.

You and me both. It was Amain that took his money, right? That should totally be on them. Take it back, send out another, and they deal with the bad servo with their vendor. That’s just the way it works. Or should. I’d argue with them till the cows came home. Call Australia in the middle of the night and talk to the owner. That’s BS.

This-...

I agree if amain is selling the product they should be handling a refund or exchange with you.

Thanks for the heads up man.. I just bought an nsdrc servo but I've yet to try it.. for me it's all about support. If they're that terrible I certainly won't be buying another from them..

Actually, I forgot to mention in my original post that Amain did wind up giving me some money back on it for my inconvenience. They told me to continue to pursue it with NSDRC to get the servo replaced though.

Oh dear lord..

That's like buying a NEW car from the dealership and something is wrong Before you even drive it off the lot..
They give you a few bucks back for your troubles.. & advise You to (keep going) and deal with the manufacturer to see if they will fix your problem.

They gave me $40, without me even asking for it. I know for an absolute fact, that I can call Amain right now, and they'd pay the other $25 without batting an eye. But that's not what I want. I want NSDRC to do what they're supposed to do. And I will get either a new servo, or my money back, rest assured. It's not even about the money, I can take that loss. These servos are half the money I usually spend on a servo. And it's not about Amain, they've always taken very good care of me. It's about companies like NSDRC that make themselves practically unreachable, then don't man up when they sell a dud. My beef is with them.

If a company decides they want to make all of their customers go directly through them, and not their distributors, they should have a phone number to call, and talk to a human, not hide behind a keyboard, then ignore people until they give up. What NSDRC has done, is basically make it nearly impossible to return a defective product. I don't intend to let them off of the hook.

OK, I totally get that. I’m glad A-Main took care of you. Maybe that $40.00 was their way of saying, “yes, we’ve dealt with this before. Good luck with these guys…”

Yeah, I know I could have gotten amain to 100% make it right if I had asked, but I am so irritated with a company that I really liked, and actually recommended people buy their servos, who won't stand behind their product. I don't typically go on the warpath like this unless I've tried everything first to get it resolved by the responsible party.

I just think back to when I was a kid, and I had to work my butt off to save up for weeks to finally buy something like a nice servo. $65 might be negligible to us, but to a 13 year old, that's a lot of money to lose. That's why I do this. Stuff like this would be devastating to a kid. Companies need to be held accountable.

Hello,

Nsdrc Support here, We're sorry to hear you've had trouble reaching us! We did in fact already send you a brand new servo and a prepaid return label to send the defective unit back. We have also emailed you with this information, maybe it went to your spam folder? We will send the email again with tracking, it is expected to be delivered Thursday.

We have multiple points of contact including our email, a contact form on our website, as well as FB and IG messenger. The only thing we don't have is a phone number. We have been known for extremely fast and great customer support, this is absolutely not a proper representation of our support. If for some reason you are not getting a timely response from one contact source, you have others available to reach us. Please make sure to check your spam folders, many business that send any sort of advertising emails are often automatically sent to spam or promotional folders.

Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience of the communication issue we are having. Rest assured, we have already sent the replacement and return label as discussed.

Well there ya go.. 🍻🤙

Okay then..

If the New servo & Return Shipping Label arrives as promised, please let me know and I will definitely retract my previous humorous posts.

👍

Wow. They weren’t even members here, someone must have tipped them off about your post. If that’s the case and they joined just to respond to this, and indeed send a replacement servo, then good for them.

Thank you for joining and for handling this. I appreciate you sending the servo as well. I'll definitely retract my statements, and I am sorry for your loss. I have attached a screenshot of the tracking on the servo.
