Kraton JConcepts Choppers= Balloons

I been looking for bead locks for the Kraton 6s since my first V2 Kraton. The choppers look great but they expand like crazy and are really heavy. Two things that wreak havoc on gears. I ordered before I thought about, Are they belted? Not! Photo showing about 1/4 throttle

in my opinion they are way too heavy for this truck, for tire like this you need big teeth on diff like they do on Traxxas or Hobao, don't think Arrma diff can handle this weight.

You would think a tire that comes out now would not ballon like hell cause nobody really likes that. Why would anyone make a tire that turns into pizza cutters?
They do grip good and will definitely be good for slick conditions

Yall are hilarious, trenchers are similar weight and some of the most fun I've had. Ballooning without worrying about glue is great and leads to awesome control in the air. I'll give you 120$ for em if you're in the US

Diffs hold up fine and saying Traxxas diffs are better is absolute madness.

You must be using stock power, my stock tires definitely balloon though they are great tires, not having to worry about gluing tires with upgraded power is the number one reason to not go stock.

The stock back flips and Copperheads are pretty good. They just aren’t bead locks. If the back flips were bead lock they would be awesome. The Choppers are real bead locks they just balloon up. Great for jumping and air control but that’s not really my thing. I like to go fast and sling dirt and shite around. I got a big ramp that I don’t use as much as I used to. Atleast not with the 8s too much! I need more landing area!

I don't care for tires that balloon excessively, really makes the rig squirrelly on the ground, which turns into almost impossible to control at speeds. As to the affect on air control, IDK, seems the weight is where the air control comes from to me. I may be wrong.
I think as long as they stay put (on the rim), I wouldn't be too concerned about the ballooning for bashing. Maybe wrap them with some braided fishing line to minimize the ballooning? Arrma's diffs are decent I feel, but I run stock power so, that matters.

1. Backflips are my favorite basher tire
2. They balloon quite a bit in my setups

Can you tell us what is the total weight of your rig with these tires on and with lipo? And if you have a simple photo with tires on the car please, thank you

What size are the hardware/screws for the beadlocks?
