Arrma RC's
Hi all, spent the afternoon installing my Just Bash It Chassis on my new Kraton. Only problem I had, was I tried using stainless screws from RCscrewz. Bummer, way soft, heads strip very easy. I should have know better, after reading about the tensil strength on a thread here. Oh well. Might do the shock towers tomorrow. All in all, I wish I'd left it alone. The chassis is heavy. No way is it going to bend, but kinda like a flying brick! I also did the "T Bone" front bumper, and wheelie bar. The wheelie bar works great, can walk it on the wheelie bar most of the way down the street. Don't know yet how well it will hold up to bad landings though. Wheels are on ball bearings. Being sorta new to this hobby, I can't quite decide which way I want to go, and so far it looks like I'm going all directions. This new heavy duty Kraton will probably be best suited for just bashing around. My new Typhon 3S will probably wind up with a 6S system in it (smile), and I have a new Nortorious coming Thursday, that I will use to try to learn jumps, flips, etc. etc. Now I need to build a ramp. My advice to anyone here newer than me, is, as has been said many times here, when you get your new truck, whatever it is, just run it, and upgrade on repairs if not just replacing the stock parts. Some of this bling stuff is just that, Bling. $$$$:)

Yes, ran a fully charged 6S pack down to 3.8 volts per cell, and motor was nice and toasty. But couldn't find my damned meter until it had cooled off some, still got a 140 on the motor end. 2 fans will be next! It's heavy, but sure is purty. Wait till you see the shock towers!

I've seen them. Really nice looking......and even more weight. I'd starting planning on a new ESC and motor for it. The stock electronics are going to fry - fans or no fans!

I have the tb wheelie bar on my Kraton. I bent it further back and drilled two new holes to get it a little more out of the way. Been running it since July with the same wingmount. It gives very good protection the way I have it.

Just installed their chassis on my Talion happy to report no issues with the stock screws everything fit perfectly down to the hot racing wheeli bar brackets! This is my 8S Talion build, Max6 ESC- just waiting the TP motor being custom built as we speak :)

Anybody have suggestions for the Kraton motor/ESC upgrade. She's put on a little weight with these upgrades. I want to keep, or increase the speed, but loose the heat I'm now getting.

Max6 and leopard 4092 1480kv working good here, however this rig is pretty darn heavy with m2c chassis, gka braces and servo mount, savox 1210sg, tall side guards, rpm arms and wing mount, yeah racing twin fan heatsink, TBR front bumper, chassis skid, wheelie bar and Dboots backflips. I think a tad bit more motor could still be beneficial, I may goto a TP 4070 in the near future or perhaps try one of these new hobbywing 4985 1650kv motors once they become available stateside. My brother just got the TP 4070 1520kv and max6 for his m2c gka maxspeedparts markhor kraton, I can not believe how hard that motor is to turn by hand! I am curious to see how it compares to the leopard.
