Been hankering for some 1:10 action and picked up this little gem of a package today.

Xray t4 2018 with a ton of extras and a castle mamba system.

This will be my poor man's baby infraction for now lol.

Anyone else running a touring car???

WOWSER 7700KV!!!!! Will it run on 3s??never had a serpent car,,belt drivin...🤔looks very cool
I'll find out cos ill be running it on 3s. The mamba x 1:10 is good to 6s but 7700kv i doubt lol.

I was planning to build a vintage carbon castle powered touring but this deal has everything already. Still be plenty of tinkering to be had though!

I love my X Ray T3 10.

Parking lots are certainly fun, especially if you don't have an on track location. I did race mine (unofficially) - more like drivers handshake / play racing. All cars were pretty much the same class - just not an official race.

Pretty sure that motor will get hot on 3s.
A light weight 2s pack might be ideal related to weight balance for the car, and still would turn 60+k rpms.

Looks really fun, I have been itching to get a nice parking lot belt drive car like this. I love the body options that 1/10 scale has to offer.

Damn im glad you answered the question in my head. I thought 3s might be a bit strong for such high kv. Its ec5 too so would have been perfect for my 6s arrmas. I'm sure it'll be pretty fast on 2s anyway.

Thanks for chipping in with this info 😃😎

That motor is rated for up to 100k RPMs, which is very high... It can handle 3s, but I suspect it would overheat.
If you had a motor telemetry radio to keep a close eye on temps then 3s would be insane on that car.

I'm wondering how she's geared. It was posted today so ill see when it arrives. Maybe speed run it with those gt bodies. Sure seems like a nice platform to start with. I noticed the ballast weights. The seller must have been a serious racer 🤓

She arrived in good shape!

Can't get over the weight of the thing. 2lb 4oz without body and battery (thats with the metal chassis) and under 3lb ready to run with a random 3s pack on board.

I've been watching some 1:10 7700kv videos and at that weight they absolutely scream.

Will throw a spare reciever in it later and take her for a blast. Fingers crossed the esc is good
