So the discharger arrived today, its so small ...!!

I have yet to try it out, I'll report back after a few cycles..???

Couldn't help myself and bought the battery checker too..!!

Just used the discharger on a fully charged 6s 6000mAh it took just over 1/2hr to get down to storage voltage, so way faster than my charger..

Best of all I don't have to plug my charger setup in now I can just use the little discharger on its own.
It does sound like a tornado when its running at max..???

Only bad thing, which has also been stated in reviews is that the led's are quite hard to see in bright daylight, other than that I'm happy with it so far..?

The amps will go up as the voltage drops- but yea wattage is the wall with these things.

I paid $65 for my discharger on Ebay, which I thought was cheap enough to not fiddle around with making my own.

I was tempted to try this one- https://www.amazon.com/Intelligent-...c+discharger&qid=1555591295&s=gateway&sr=8-16

That one will balance discharge, but at 120w max. It does have a nice display with more info.

Given that I have two 6S 7400, and also 3 other family members with rc cars now- I went with brute force over finesse.
I have one of those coming in this week. Looking forward to try it out.
