Vendetta Just got a Vendetta. Need some help

I just got a Vendetta for my son and need some help. I'm sure not if I plug the servo and esc plug into the correct port. When I power it on the Mamba esc turns on but then powers down for a second and turns back on. What I'm doing wrong?

Servo plugs into channel 1 on the receiver. ESC plugs into channel 2.

Castle ESCs always turn the fan on for a couple seconds at startup. Then the fan turns off and only turns back on if the ESC temperature exceeds ~140F.

I'm pretty sure it's around 140F. I don't know the exact number though.

Look closely at your Castle logs. You can typically see the ESC temp rise and rise until it hits ~140F and then it suddenly starts dropping. That's because the fan kicked in.
