Senton Just wanted to share my first few mods to my Senton Mega gone Brushless

Hi all. First few mods are complete (GoolRC combo, 27t pinion, 2s Lipo) Stock out the box was 20-21 mph, now its 35mph. Think i want to go wider/bigger wheels & tires next. Don't mind cutting a bit of the body . what would i need to go let's say Granite tires? Check out my 1st brushless run last night on Lipo. Went ok

If you want to run the Granite tires, you may need to gear down. Stock, the Granite comes with a smaller pinion vs the Senton. Mostly, just watch the motor temp for the first few runs. Get a temp gauge and keep it under 170f. (130f will feel scalding hot, but is safe - you need a thermometer)

Thanks. I noticed it was getting a bit hot but it wasn't unbearable. Would the Granite tires rub the chassis or any of the suspension?

Probably not. The front/rear end is the same for the Granite and Senton. The bigger tires will probably rub the body.
