The DIfs I have are 4.3's for Kraton. I want 3.3 so ordered them for this Typhon street basher build.

I have a TLR rack for a Typhon im not using converting to that and other parts that came in the T TLR side Guard package from Jenny!!

And I still have tons or parts for repairs. Extra motors and electronics I'll never use LOL

So I got a new rig for $180 ;-)
*edit: up to $245 but who's counting?

Im going to need a name.

Sort of want a "lowered nose, ass up" street car along with some light lawn-grass with buggy tires, type of look and feel.
I'll likely run a 50t with a 22 pinion (+/- 2)
Thats around 75-85+ mph potential on 6S. And with 3S its in the 40's for the younger drivers.

- Typhon 6S body shell.
- Kraton 6S V5 BLX Wing (I also have a Typhon Wing)
- dBoots Exabyte Tires (118mm X 42mm)
- dBoots Hoon 100's and 107's

- Firma 150 ESC (stock 6S)
- Firma 4074 2050kv motor with Yedi twin fan cooling and HS.
- Arrma 6S V5 BLX Red Sliding Motor and Dif Mount

- Typhon 6S V5 BLX - center differential (50t spur)
- Typhon TLR Diferencial's, F/R (3.3 ratio)

- Flysky FS BS6 Gyro Receiver

In the front:
- TLR arm pins with steering rack.
- Typhon a-arms & hubs.
- Limitless v2 6S - front shock tower
- Infraction 6S - rear shocks
Shock body 16 x 36 mm
Shock shaft 4 x 43 mm
Springs: 40 mm 4.7n/mm (27lbf/in)

In the back:
- Typhon a-arms & hubs.
* either;
- Limitless v2 6S - rear shock tower
- Typhon Rear Shot Tower
- Lowered Mojave 6s EXB rear shocks
Shock body 16 x 61 mm
Shock shaft 4 x 73.5 mm
Spring: using a 95 mm 0.87n/mm (5.0lb/in) (original was 110 mm 0.56n/mm (3.2lbf/in)

Trying to use what I have but may want Mojave Front shocks in the rear instead!
Have to see how they look with either tower.

Mojave front shocks stock
Shock body 16 x 51 mm
Shock shaft 4 x 59.5 mm
Springs: 70 mm 1.35n/mm (7.7lbf/in)

Decided on Shocks and towers, to start with.

Using the Limitless/Felony/Infraction Towers.
Typhon/Felony/Infraction A-Arms

For the Front:
Limitless V2 Rear Shocks.
Shock Body: 16 x 36 mm (all the 6s road cars use the same)
Shock Shaft: 4 x 43 mm
Springs: 35 mm 4.7N/mm (27lbf/in)

For the Rear:
Infraction V2 Rear Shocks.
Shock Body: 16 x 36mm
Shock Shaft: 4 x 43mm
Springs: 40 mm 4.7N/mm (27lbf/in)

This is actually the same size/value shocks and towers the infraction V2 uses on a Longer chassis with the same A-arms.

I was about to swing for the GP5 Difs for the 2.8 ratio's but im going to use the 3.3 Difs for now.
I haven't bought any 2.8's for any of the cars.

Added a Arrma Typhon TLR - Servo (Spektrum S665)

Also Decided on a Name ;) still working on the branding style now lol

I have the TLR A-arm mounting hardware.
In case I decide to turn it into a Typhon TLR, Id just need a set of TLR shock towers.
In the mean time, im using the F/B bottom TLR pin mounts and a Front Upper EXB pin mount.

I DO currently use a set of Typhon shock towers on the biggest Big Wolf Buggy and I was thinking of using the TLR stuff on it - but it's a big brute with Zero Finesse!

I don't know.

TLR hinge pin mounts in rear wont Fit the chassis??

IMG_7706.JPG

Im trying the center neutral positions and in the rear they pins wont line up at all without serious persuasion.

Is this right?
Default inserts for F/R were center-neutral.

The Center (no.3) position is default for non-tlr.

Seem you either Need the TLR chassis OR you have to trim your BLX chassis to fit the rear.

It maybe breaching... I was born bottom-first. Chip off the old block. They're so cute when they're young.

JennyRC to the rescue. There's always that 1 part you cant find!!
Friday! (or maybe Saturday)

I have lots of stainless hardware I'm using up but not enough for the whole car. the stainless are nice, no rust or corrosion since.
I still need to go through the Dif's and change the fluid. Shocks are ready to go.

New build is up to $350. But I did splurge a little.

And I STILL have 2 boxes of spare parts and crap. Nothing you ever need but I got'em!

It's a li'l Guy. The body hardly fit. Definitely going to be the Little Bro!

Started the day early, did some wrenching during a long, long lunch ;-)

Next; need to remove some parts from Dalek and donate to K9, he's got replacements coming from the UK and I promised him a spa day.

Grandson No.2 is going to want this one!

Figuring out the rear body pins, what works with the Limitless tower in the rear.

Good Dalek made a sacrifice for his Bro. Gave up his TLR steering Rack.
Got some scorched hubs and all new titanium driveshafts coming so he can go chill out for a while.
And a new 6S EXB steering rack.

When I was born feet first, back then, they brought you straight into the ER.
My dad and his friends were waiting; drinking scotch, smoking cigars and cigarettes- in the waiting room.
You could do that back in the 60's.

So im in the waiting room. waiting for Dr JRC to arrive so we call pull this puppy out and give it a smack!

Fired up on 3S and 6S. (y) (y)

It's a BOY!
And he went right to the herd, thats a good sign.
The Typhon 3S looks big next to him.
The Bad Wolf bull is ginormous. I think K9 is a little afraid. He'll get over it, just like the Cat did.

IMG_7733.JPG

Got the front down tiny bit more than the back, much different droop settings than the back. Id like to get the nose lower bu this seems to be lowest with that I have.

Good Dalek is being prepped for some outpatient surgery so couldn't join the unveiling.

THIS IS WHY you need to Clean your heatsinks!
Packed in tight! Canned air wouldn't get it out. Had to scrap the dried grass out (the consistency of dung) with tooth picks!
Thats how these things go up in flames.
