Kraton Keep popping steering links at the ackerman

For years I've been doing it. Got the idea from Losi cars they used some kind of fabric on the steering to prevent steering slop.
Cool. I hope it does the trick. I'll run it this weekend.

I also use them on worn suspension links, shocks.

I feel if you get the right size it can help keep dirt out of the billow ball and link end.
I'll have to try this.

After I installed them, I pushed on the rod ends both ways, & couldn't get it to pop off the pivot ball with the suspension down. At the mid-way point, they will barely pop off, but pop right back to center when I drooped the suspension back down. The O-rings snap it back on.

The O-rings work. After a full bash, the steering links didn't pop off one time. I put the K6 thru a hard bashing. Jumps & full throttle with steering.
They also don't interfere with steering lock to lock, or up & down travel. They still look brand new.

My K6 with the 4990 has so much power & is heavy, I have popped a steering tie rod link off the 8x12 ball at the ackerman a few times. Pops back on, not broken. Is the composite end just worn out or is there a upgrade or aftermarket alternative or trick/hack to keep it from happening? I've seen the china steering links. Not impressed & look heavy. I'm guessing Vitavon might make them, not sure, but are probably $$$. Thanks guys
I use the ones from the br 6s. Lil better. There's carbon fiber ones on eBay that are awesome
