Today I went over all the diffs. Didnt go crazy, just pulled them apart and topped up with thicker juices.
The Center drive shafts were slightly bent out of the box but within limits I guess.
Hot racing wheel nuts are not serrated......take note. M2C 2mm thingies forthcoming I think.
Buttoned up all screws.
Printed a few of @suchtragedy bits and pieces.
Sticker job sucks,,,,I hate stickers anyways so most of them are gone.

Spektrum 160A with the 1250 Kv motor are going in, 21T for now. I plan on running 8S. Some guys are running “blind nuts” in their battery tray for added security.......can someone post how they do this?

Going to install two 3D printed “pinhead” drivers from the movie Hellraiser. Scary....

Are the diffs the LSD like in the exb kraton that have been problematic?

@Combo the scorched inners arrived yesterday. Took 12 days from the time I ordered them.Thanks for the video, I’ll have a look.

Ran the truck for the first time today, it’s a beauty.
Other than some cable management, shoo goo, some cosmetics and the scorched parts it’s all done. Nothing as bling as the other builds here but it works well with the bits I had lying around.

Weight is 7.5 Kg. Got 84 Kmh on some storage charged lipos.

I had to build up the battery tray for the two 4S packs. That is a work in progress and may require some further tinkering. The heat sink required some significant phuckery with the dremel (own this tool if you dig RC).

Thx to the above forum members for battery tray sorcery.

Batt tray looks great. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to build my 8s tray up! Have you got any build pics for what you did with the top piece? Aware of the t-nut hack and have some spares

Heres a few pics. It’s certainly not perfect and probably will be improved. It really should span the length of the battery.
Because I had to lay my lipos on the side, I dremelled off the little cable holder thingy that’s red circled. Sorry I don’t have any pics before I installed it.
The material is 1/4 inch HDPE, bent with a torch.

Thanks for the feedback on your battery box mod. I was having trouble figuring how to get my big old batteries in there... This will help and give me ideals. (starts thinking how to design something I can 3D print...)
