Tried out these 1:7 rally type wheel tire combos on our Typhon 3s and might have stumbled upon something different.. These are just slightly smaller diameter than stock h2o's and have the least traction in the dry or wet of any tires I have run . . . If you're looking to have some fun power sliding and drifting long very controllable slides these might be the ticket. Nothing else like em on damp ashpalt and they are almost as much fun in the dry.. came with pretty stiff rubber foam inserts that give them a pretty small contact patch so it's easy to get it to break loose n steer with the throttle. Braking and acceleration are dismal for the same reason they are such a hoot.

Sounds worth a shot. If you could link would be great. Cant find em right now with a quick search but the wheels look familiar to others I've seen at ebay

I saw those at AMZ. Scratched my head, a few times, and passed on them.
How do they wear? I figured traction was nil. But for drifting, could be a winner.

I have a set for myself but I have never run them. I gave a set to my buddy to run on his slash though.
