Love this build man. Super beefy. 💪
Thanks man! It's been a long process. Lots of challenges. Still more to go. Things to change / add.

The double rear chassis braces are crazy. I've never seen that before.
I wanted to stiffen the chassis in that area. They are prone to bending. It was really flexible before I added the 2nd Notorious brace. Very ridged now. Clears the 4990 fine & the driveshaft also. Had to reconfigure the upper bulkhead mount for two braces. Used the smaller stock spacer that was already there with a single brace, put it in-between them & two blank 6s shock piston valves for the outer washers.

One of the most badass builds I've ever seen. Really appreciate the work you had to go through with the design and building/modifying.
Thank you so much man! It's been a up & down journey. I'm still not satisfied with it, more to come. I left out many details in the build process. I'll update the thread soon. Thanks again!

But wait, there’s more!?!? Holy smoke, what a nice build man. Super clean, and everything serves a purpose. Beautiful Kraton!

Thanks Dan! Yes I have some more stuff I'd like to do. 3drc TPU wing mount, I have it, just waiting to CNC a 7075 rear tower like the front. This build is entirely blueprinted. Zero lash or play in any of the moving parts. But still butter smooth & slick. The quad flanged bearings in the ackerman plate was a challenge. The Treal ackerman is 4mm thick. I used shims in between them. That way they don't pinch the ackerman but allow full torque on the shoulder screws. Some machining was required on the bellcrank arms. It's so slick with the titanium pillow balls. Thanks dude!!

Very nicely done! I will have to look at doing the double rear chassis braces on my EXB V1.

Now stop looking at it and take it out and run it! ;)
I know right!!! I waited for the world to cool off yesterday, had the 6s brick ready, got all outside & realized my genius self had left the velcro straps out of the tray. I washed them last week & they were neglected in the re-install of the tray. So I retreated to the house. I'll get it up on 2 wheels for sure, & keep yall posted. I'm anxious myself. 💯🤣👍

 No it's not. Looking at them doing power wheelies at 50mph and trying to rip the tires off the rims is 80% of the fun.:ROFLMAO:

Absolute monster! The 4990 is an animal! Bashed on asphalt, concrete, & grass. Didn't get too crazy with it & the motor was at 89° after 25 mins. 18t pinion & 4s LP's. The steering is perfect, turns so precise. Stays planted, turns on a dime! Popped a front turnbuckle off at the ackerman under throttle on asphalt. Popped it back on & took it easy after that. The 4990 is a unit! Barely could go 100% throttle. It'll wheelie, but not bad, just goes. It will tear up some grass & shoot rooster tails!

Very fast! I didn't even get it up to full speed. So much power. I'm sure it'll clip 60mph. I need to go through the HW Link app & reduce the brake % I believe.
