Hey guys. I'm sorry if this has been already questioned, but I've looked around And can't find anything. I'm currently upgrading the bulkheads and differentials on my 6s and I'm not sure if I should go with the LSD plates in F/C/R and what fluids i should use i ordered everything needed including the 29mm arrma diff housing

I have a few rigs with LSD.

It's harder to dial in the diffs with the LSD fluid, and there's just not a lot of topics on the setup. I think many would agree they like the strength that LSD diffs provide.

If I were buying them, I would use the shim kit to open them. I did that to a few of my rigs, but only to the rear. You see the new rigs that come with LSD look only to do LSD for the center diff.

Are you saying you would leave the rear an open diff? Lsd/lsd/open, 30k/100k/?

I run 60/375/30 in my Notorious with all 3 aluminum 31mm diff cases, open. 375 is perfect for the SWB but could go to 40k in the rear.

Hi

I'm saying what I know now and the pain of LSD and trying to get diffs to act like open diffs, since they use lighter oil, making it harder to compare & act like open diffs...

I would buy the LSD diffs but run them all as open diffs all 3. I would add the shim kit that makes them open and use regular weight diff fluid I am more familiar with.

All my current rigs with them are still LSD/LSD/open. It took months to get it to perform right and get the LSD oils right. I am NOT changing it unless I am building a new rig like you.
