They were all tight to the point were I was thinking maybe too tight. Its got me stumped. It has spun some how. Maybe I've got too much powerCould the tire have been loose even slightly, just enough for there to be play between the hex and wheel?
It looks like its spun on the inside too and the hex got tighter. I don't know whats going on???Stripped from the front side...
That's rare..

It looks like the stub axle gotten Real hot some how and melted the plastic at that location around the hex nut...
Pretty sure I figured it out. The titanium inner hex has a thinner flange than stock.Could the bearings be siezed up some how, causing excessive heat..?

Seems like a bad bearing if it is that.It looks like the stub axle gotten Real hot some how and melted the plastic at that location around the hex nut...
Has anyone had this happen? Brand new backflips stripped out at the hex???
What would cause this? All wheels were tight.

Reducing the power sounds bad like a bad idea to meGood replies....
It has happened to my Kraton 6S EXB. My $0.02 was too much power from the HW motor and ESC upgrade and the PL plastic hex, as well as some BF. In the past, I always bought a spare set of PL hex set since it was plastic. The aluminum just cost too much.
I reduced the power and added the M2C hex extenders, which better fit with the wheel hex and hex extenders.

LOL... I feel you on the power. The HW 4985 motor also killed the glue, pulling the BF tires off the wheel rim. I added extra glue prior. Only the rear....Reducing the power sounds bad like a bad idea to me. Those M2C extensions look good i just ordered a set in the beefcake kit for my outcast 4s.
I just put the stock set back on the kraton and ran to the local hobby shop for another set of backflips so I'll have another crack at it this arvo when it cools down a bit its 40°c here atm.
