Hi everyone!

Small question about steering. I want to tighten (a bit) one of the screws that holds the steering rack, as it feels a bit loose. I can turn it, but it does not get tighter. Should it behave this way or something is wrong? Never dealt with 6s steering in my life =)
Any comments are welcome! Thanks!

It's common for those step pins to be that loose. It's their design. Don't tighten them any further to try to get that slop out, they'll snap.

I see, thanks! I like things to be tight. I mean RC stuff, of course.
Installing some upgrades, so my front is entirely disassembled. Otherwise would not have touched it =)

There's metal lock nuts under the bottom of the composite bellcrank arms. The shoulder distance on the pins along with the metal shims & ackerman bushings, it goes down & stops when tight, but it still has play in the ackerman, up & down. It's aggravating- but that's their design. Some aftermarket solutions are out there, some still have slop.

That screw still shouldnt turn freely though, right? Like the locknut isnt being held in place by the plastic or outright missing?
I forgot that there is a lil nut in there.
Yea, it kinda feels strange. If there is a nut inside, I shouldn't be able to freely turn the bolt. Theoretically =)

Hell, I'll leave it as is. Otherwise I'll end up with a fully disassembled car tightening all the bolts that should and should not be tightened.
