How does one go about doing this? The 4s uses those odd wheel nuts and the 6s Kraton uses proper 17mm hex adapters and wheel nuts. I’m still pretty new to the 3.8 inch tires and the 17mm hex setup, I’ve only ever messed with 2.8 with the 4mm flange nuts.

Take the nut off, take the old wheel off, put the new wheel on, put the nut back on. Drive.

Is it really that simple? LOL I thought since that the 4s models have the normal axle and the 6s models have different axles it would be more difficult. Silly me eh? Thanks again John!

You left out "Order extra wheel driveshafts from JRC"?

Bigger is not always better when it come to wheels. Looks may be great and if that is your intent, just be prepared to order more spare parts in addition.

Well the Kraton 4s comes with 3.8 17mm hex wheels and tires, so I’d be putting on the same size tires and rims. I just didn’t know if I needed to swap out parts for the 6s rims, but since John cleared that up for me I’m going to get some tires, just don’t know what I want yet. Prolines are around 40 a pair, but I could also get a complete set of the 6s Kraton copperhead 2 tires for around 65.

What do you all think?

Those tires do look pretty awesome, do they hook up well in off road use, like loose dirt and gravel? That’s where I mainly run, with the occasional speed run up and down my road on my walk back to the house

Well yes. You can drive anywhere.
As you can see, I drive in the school parking lot.
They are very good and very resistant.

I tried Duratrax tires for drifting.
Just for fun. :ROFLMAO:(y)

Getting back on topic, I'll finally get a chance to run on the Backflips after quite a few days of monsoons. Things have dried up and looking forward to some grip in the loose stuff. A video will be up for those that follow me.
