Kraton 8s CVD Outdrive shaft Question

Hello Everyone,

I am having an issue with my K8. I am wondering if anyone has experienced it and knows how to fix it.

I just upgraded the CVD outdrive shafts to M2C after I bent the stock ones. But I am having an issue with the back left wheel. I have snapped one of the M2C pins because the wheel gets to a point and will not turn. the right will turn no problem. But if I lift the back left tire up a little then it will turn no problem as well. I just pull my rear diff and cleaned and refilled, hoping that was the problem. But, the diff is fine, There are no broken teeth or anything. If you know what could be happening please let me know.

(UPDATE) It has to do will my hub. I have the diff pulled still and the shaft will still not turning. I might just buy the assembly.

Probably a seized up bearing. Are you running stock hubs? You can buy the whole assembly on Jenny’s RC for cheap. If you’re looking to upgrade the hot racing ones are good and usually easy to get. The Vitavon are excellent and well worth the money too

I’m curious too.. I haven’t experienced it, but do have a bent rear cvd that IDK what happened to..

Over extention and over compression.

Several folks on here added some washers to the shocks to prevent over compression.

You can use droop screws to control over extension or spacers inside the shock body.

I'm just an idiot. Forgot to put a the piece for the pin on the outdrive shaft. But I'm glad I pulled the rear diff. It was almost empty. @KnowAir
