Kraton 8S motor

Hey everyone. I have had the Kraton 8S for going on a year now. Im curious on what electrical upgrades everyone has done to get more speed and response. Also curious on suspension. Sway bars, springs, shocks that are decent to run on them. I have a little background in the RC world. Just took a break not too long after the TMaxx 3.3 came out. Trying to get back into it. Can’t remember the engines. I want to upgrade with bigger case and all. Don’t matter if I have to buy new mounts or whatever to get new motor in truck. I love this truck. Just little things that ARRMA has set up that in my opinion could have been better. Thanks for reading and replying. Please if you can leave links to the things you suggest. Easier to go and see. If I could get someone to explain to me again the different engine sizes and poop. I just can’t remember to save my ass. Haha. I remember back then that lower the turn… faster it ran. That was running brushed/brushless 1/10th scale cars.

You must come from a nitro/gasser background. You’ll never find an engine for that Kraton 8s. But I’m sure someone will weigh in to suggest a motor. . I don’t have any Arrma 8s rigs, but I know some are doing some crazy stuff with them.

A lot of people like to upgrade to the max 5 1100kv combo. Or get a max 5 esc and pair it with a bigger motor like something from leopard.

If you want to keep it super simple, the 1100kv combo is easy plug and play but the motor is a little smaller while still better than stock.

Or there is the 800kv combo that has a bigger motor but lower kv.

I have a HW Max 5 Combo with 800kv motor in my exb roller. Works great at 1/1 gearing. I may change it up a little to get more top end but I'm pretty happy ATM.
