Looks ? Is the carbon rod 2mm wall? It’s really strong stuff, flexes much less than the 1mm wall.
What is the I.D. of the tubing? You get it on amazon?

That 3K CF, is it very stiff? Does it flex held in your hands?

Seems pretty stiff to me. I can’t bend it but I’m not exactly Tony Atlas either. It was the only 2mm walltubing I could find when I was building my Outcast. It just happens to fit perfectly over the k8s braces.

She's flying now! 50+ and pulling the front wheels up!

I also ran my 6S in wet grass too. What a chore to clean that up was. :) And if it dries hard before you get to clean it. Oh boy..... I use rear mud guards on my arms now for that reason. (y)

Yeah the dew beat me to the field but I wasn't going to let it ruin my fun. It was quite the bastard to clean, I just did a quick hose rinse and then hit it with compressed air. She definitely needs mud guards.

I like mine and would buy it over again for sure. May want to see one in person, it is a big model. Right out of the box it’s not real exciting. You need to gear it up and turn the punch up to 5 and you start seeing the potential. There’s plenty of room in the chassis for bigger electrics.

What gearing is suggested?
I put 3 sets of packs thru mine yesterday for the first real bash, it was stock, still probably #1 or #2 in my all time best to drive and bash, it is so stable, handles like it is on rails and it loves to fly, nothing this size I have driven has even come close to this beast.

I say buy it ASAP, you won't be disappointed.

Tonight, I changed the pinion to 23T, upped the punch, set motor timing and gave it the once over, i'm looking forward to my next chance to go for a rip!

What timing did you go to?

Yeah a hose and compressed air is the best way in that situation. Been there. I run at dusk and sometimes the dew just appears. You start to see the tires spraying.

I’m running a 23t. It’s what I have lying around until Arrma releases there “d” pinions. The big fan and heatsink keeps it plenty cool. Could probably bump it up to a 25t. I don’t think the stock mount will allow for much bigger than 25t.
