Kraton Kraton Body Rips Off Posts

Hey guys,

I had my Kraton to the bmx track for its first couple runs. Within 2 packs (and a lot of wrecks) the body ripped off the posts and would lift up right over the clips and posts. I made a quick fix and thought I’d share in case it happens to someone else. Or if you just want to prevent it in the first place.
I cut a small scrap of lexan from the excess of a new proline body I have. Drilled 2 holes and put it under the clips.

Nice mod. If you can fit one underneath, it will strengthen things up too. I have done that on a couple of trucks to help with damage from inverted landings and it works great.

That’s a good point. I do need another underneath to keep it from pushing down. I’ll have to make another.
