Super excited, just added 22t pinion, Futaba temp probe, HR center diff, gear cover and front hubs, m2c motor mount and droop screws, also flanged bearings in the maxspeedpartsde CF ackerman plate. Really happy with this build so far and can't wait to run it on this gearing.

Could you post a link to those flanged bearings please. I haven't had any luck finding the right ones, thanks.

Have you used the temp sensor before the your Futaba?
I haven't but it looks to be reading very accurate, I have an alarm set to alert me at 151 fahrenheit.

These are for the maxspeedpartsde CF ackerman plate, they are not the same size as stock or voltage hobbies.

The original spacer is 4x7x3.5 and the closest flanged bearing I can find is 4x7x3. I was thinking of using some 4mm shims to make up the difference but haven't got around to it yet.

Update 6s and 7s runs! Not bad for off road gearing and relatively short tires. ? This thing is SO DAMN FUN!

I love the little dust it kicks up! Looks like exhaust from a jet. Have your camera person stand closer to mid track to get closer images at full speed before you hit the brakes. By the time it’s close enough to see it, you’re hard on the brakes already ???‍♂️

Yep, better than nothing. Not sure what you're watching it on but I can see it just fine. ??‍♂️

Update

Managed to do 70mph on grass today with a 6s, then I switched to asphalt with a 7s and bad things happened.

RIP brand new M2C motor mount, battery tray, dogbones and whatever else I find out, beware of curbs people. ?

Curb, AKA-concrete ninja.

That sucks man, but if it was a stock chassis you would've been looking at a taco.

I'm proud of it, trucks a real tank for taking that impact and coming out in fairly good shape. Diffs seem fine, electronics are all good, chassis seems fine. It's not something I normally do but I'll never run backflips on concrete again, never.

Oh man sorry to see that, curbs have gotta be one of the biggest causes of on-road R/C related carnage. That and manhole covers, and speed bumps. Hopefully you'll have it rebuilt soon, even better than ever.
