The other day when I was bashing, my car took a small hill on the property and went flying... as my car came down it went summersaulting. In the process of my kool-aid smile turning upside down, the car lost the spring cup (ARA330608) and the spring went flying. Well I found the spring, but the spring cup was lost, so naturally I ordered some more. This leads me to my questions.

I looked up the part number for the EXB spring cup and according to Arrma the part number is ARA330608. Today those spring cups and rod ends came in and something surprised me. The rod ends that came in were different than the ones on the car. I've included some images below for reference. So my questions are - why would the part not be the same as the one that came on the car? Did they revise the part? Is this rod end stronger/better than the factory one?

In the last image, the one on the right is the one that came on the car from the factory.

Kind of looks like the EXB comes with the nero HD ends, but lists the ends the mojave uses (ARA330608):
The larger 2 in this I think are the nero ends: https://www.arrma-rc.com/part/AR330338
Or these: https://www.arrma-rc.com/part/AR330409

The smaller 2 in the AR330338 are what comes on the older trucks, which is what my outcast had.
On the left vs tekno's on the right:

I just ordered a pack of the AR330338 and AR330409 to try them out instead of the tekno's as I've been breaking those once in a while. The originals lasted me a week. Tekno's last me a few months.

You can kind of see most of them just by searching on arrma's site:

I broke an EXB shock rod end. I put a Nero HD end on. The EXB spring retainer would not fit. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I just ordered two sets of Nero HD rod ends and spring cups. I’ll compare them with what I just got, as soon as they come in.

I’m not sure, but I just placed an order for the Nero HD rod ends and spring cups. I’ll update once they come in. I just find it odd that these are different than the ones that came on the car, yet on the Arrma website they show the ones I just received.?

ARA330608 is the ones that came on my EXB. I already bought a replacement set and they matched.
