Kraton Kraton front bumper and hinge pin retention

Hi, looking for some advice, I have a Kraton 6s V4, have been running the RPM front bumper with the stock bumper under and broke it on the last outing.
Question is, can you run the Kraton without the stock bumper? Or do you need something to retain the hinge pins?

Similar scenario using my Tbone bumper on The Noto. I trimmed my Noto stock bumper down considerably with a dremel enough to use stock bumper just for retainng the hingepins. If you leave the stock bumper intact it interferes with that RPM bumper on impacts.
Alternatively you can use a Typhon 6S bumper perhaps. I think its smaller but retains the hinge pins. You absolutely need to keep those hinge pins captured however it is done. My thoughts.

You will need something to hold in the hinge pins. I simply used some sheet aluminum and drilled 2 holes through it, cut to size.
Kraton stock bumper will not work and as you found out. Do not use it.

You could re-purpose a part of the Notorious/Outcast bumper as per SRC.

U can get the m2c hing pin kit and they lock them in and u won't need a bumper

I know that using the small Typhon 6S bumper was a cheat there for a while.
