Hi,

So I recently noticed that the Kraton comes in 2 models: (AR106005 and AR106015). Anyone know what the difference is between the two?

AR106005 = V1 Green Kraton
AR106015 = V2 Green Kraton

V2 has upgraded radio, esc, motor, different tires, upgraded front/rear hubs, and wing mount.

I like the paint job on V1 better.

Hey Paulie,

It's interesting that they haven't lowered the price on the V1.

So on the hubs, what is upgraded about them?

Thanks,
Josh

Here's a picture I found. Basically they added more meat to beef up where the V1 hubs used to break.
I saw the two different models as well and was a little confused about V1 still costing the same. I believe Arrma will stand behind any defective parts if you had the V1.

Ah, thank you! So basically they just changed out the hubs from the Talion. Whatever works!

Hubs have a lot of bracing and are wider , stub axles are longer to go through upgraded hubs , BLX185 esc and motor and wing mount and different tyres

I got the v1 cheap on ebay, sold all the electronics immediately because I already had some much better lying around, then updated the hubs to v2, cheaply from an eBay, rc chopshop.
The motor from v1 is I believe 68mm long and the v2 motor is 74 long.

I think you will need new stub axels on the drive shafts the V1 won't be long enough to go through the V2 hubs/ steering blocks

Looking at the V2 manual Kraton/Talion:
Steering Block Front AR330403 (Steering Block Front Talion AR330187)
CVD Axle 8x44.5mm AR310590 (CVD Axle 8x36.5mm Talion AR310487)
CVD Driveshaft 142mm AR310458
Wheel Hex 17.6mm AR310484

V1 manual Kraton/Talion:
Steering Block Front AR330187 (also in the current Senton and Typhon)
CVD Axle 8x44.5mm AR310590 (CVD Axle 8x36.5mm Talion AR310487)
CVD Driveshaft 142mm AR310458
Wheel Hex 24.6mm AR310592 (Wheel Hex 17.6mm Talion AR310484)

It looks like you just need new wheel hexes.
