I need help I have brought alumijum steering assembly and top plate etc. But I cannot get the 2 screws of the top of my bellcrank they keep getting stripped i have tried soldering iron still no joy I might need to just order a new servo saver but and spring but what else is needed as I really can't get these 2 screws out. Please can someone help this is my first RC BTW. Thank-you

If the hex is stripped try a torx bit give it a bit of a tap when inserted into the screw head to give it more bite try heating up the screws to help loosen up the loc-tight maybe try a small torch or use the iron again allow it to heat up and giver another go.

Also if your able to post a couple pics that will help further diagnosis the issue.

They don't look bad but 2.5 fits in and there is a gap around it and 3.0 hex is too big

What is a sufficient time to heat up with the iron before trying again.

Ive never used an iron sorry :( I have a little torch and only us it for 5-10 second to heat up. That 1 screw head looks pretty bad IMO might have to drill that one out but the other looks ok. If you have any WD40 try a little spray and let it absorb on the screw a bit 5min or so to help loosen it up

Got one out but the other one is literally screwed the York I was using won't work and don't have a bigger one

Depending on the iron wattage it could take up to 10 mins. I.e. the cheap irons are not as hot. Mini torch is the best bet to heat the screw and locktite before the heat spreads

Does any one know how to take this plastic bellcrank off as I have an aluminium one also I need new screws now foes anyone know the size?

If you have a dremmel with a little cutting wheel you could try to notch it to make a flat head and try that also but yeah that one screw is toast and will be a pain to get out sorry bud.

Do you know what size screws these are
Not sure exactly you will probably need to get a screw kit of some sore I'm also looking for a kit this one is sold out ATM: https://jennysrc.com/collections/ar...blx-screws-tools-ar106018?variant=32262187142
I'm thinking of upgrading to stainless but haven't found a good deal near me eBay has some nice ones if your in the US. I will find a link for those as well.

There’s so much loctite in there, you pretty much have to use vice grips and twist unitil the plastic one breaks...

As far as I know those stainless ones are soft and crappy... Your better off sticking to the stock ones. ?‍♂️
Lunsford Racing makes some titanium ones, but they are pretty expensive!! ?

So I got the servo saver free which is but the other one is just gone and I don't have the tools or patience to deal with it. So I Had to Order new screws 4x12mm thanks to @Hammer Down and a steering post already have the aluminum steering assembley. Waiting on turnbuckles and new Hot Racing Axle Carriers. Also going to upgrade all the bearings.
