Kraton Kraton "Speed" pinion

I pulled my motor and pinion to install a Hobbywing heatsink and fan. I must not have tightened down my set screw for my pinion gear tight enough, and it came loose and shredded. Is anyone running the extra pinion that Arrma warns against using, except for speed runs? I mainly bash and am running the backflip tires.

The stock gear was meant to keep temps in workable range. Do you own a temp gun?

I run Robinson racing 17pinion,4s and 6s off road ,I did add Hobby wing fan an heat sink

Did u use blue or red locktite..an let it harden up

I have the Kraton and Run the Optional Gear that came in the Box let Me tell You, Awsome No Over Heating Issues on 4s or 6s. Bashing or Balls Out Ripping It. What a Diffrence in Such a Little Upgrade.
