I was under the impression that the center diffs were the same. I just bought a replacement CD for my Kraton that apparently came out of a Typhon. The spur gear meshes but the teeth seem fatter and more dull than my original. I'm not sure how clear the difference is in the pictures. It doesn't seem like wear. The new spur doesn't get as far into the teeth of the spur. How do I set the mesh for dull teeth? Tighter than normal? Or should I just use my original spur? Is this one better in any way?

Yes, the center diff for the 6s Typhon and the 6s Kraton are the same. As for the tooth shape, your old spur is flat worn out. Chances are your pinion is too. If your pinion has "sharp" teeth like your spur, it would be a good idea to replace it too.

? It's only seen 10 or 12 packs. I see I'm going to need to keep a few spares on hand. The pinions are new so I'm ok there. Thanks!

it is worn.. its plain as day if you zoom in on the spur teeth... ? look at the tooth profile, arrow side is worn good...?
