I'm starting to geek out on this hobby. Here is my latest update to my Ivan Stewart theme body. I know it's not accurate placement but I'm avoiding destroying the delicate little modifcation on my first rollover.

Not sure if y’all have seen the Proline F100 Heatwave body. It doesn’t need painted as the lexan is black. You just have to decal it up. This would be great for guys looking to not have to paint.

I traded a guy a slash 4x4 for a outcast6s an he had this body on it. If it wasn't so beat up I would put it on my senton.body lot cheaper than stock senton body.cracks easy but looks DAMN GOOOD
Me an wife tryed painting one body.didnt turn out so well.arrma bodyz TOUGH AN CHEAP. But them bodies your painting are excellent

I have and it looks super cool, I happen to like painting and designing so would look for one with a clear body.

Yeah I think I like the idea of painting until I see my results. Not always as good as I had planned. Anyways, for those who would rather not go thru the hassle of painting, this might be their thing. If you don’t think of painting as a hassle, this won’t likely be your kind of thing. ??✌?

Yeah, I also like the convenience of having something ready to go. I kinda like having multiple bodies.

Here it is on Amazon.i think this would turn out good for senton.would love to see you paint one up.you do GOOOD WORK.

I really want to do a UDR style but not sure how to deal with the internal roll cage that looks required for the open rear. As you can see the body comes with an open bed area and would require rear housing (with or without tires) to secure the back half.

Awesome heads up jondilly, I’d never seen that before. But dang $70?

I bought that ProLine 1967 F100 Heatwave body over the weekend. Looks like it should fit my Senton 3S really well. I will need to flip the rear mounting post bracket around on the chassis so that the posts sit more over the top of the rear shock tower brace. In their standard location, it looks like the posts will sit right on the edge of the rear venting holes on the body. Other than adjusting where those rear posts are, which appears to be a simple issue of loosening a couple of screws, flipping the bracket, and then tightening those screws, there might be a tiny bit of trimming necessary on the front edges of the front wheel wells and under the bottom edge of front grill in order to clear the stock front bumper - but that's it. I am going to try to keep any trimming to the absolute minimum, as the lines on the Heatwave body are super cool.

I can’t wait to see how this works out. I think it is my final choice.
To confirm, are you doing this

Or the painted Heatwave?

No worries.
trying to understand what body is being used to see how it applies to my project. Ideally I want to use the one (white) listed above. They are both Pro-Line but one is a pre painted body. I’m more concerned about the missing tail (bed) area and how to modify to fit when there is no internal cage.

I got this one:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/prolin...or-race-truck-precut-body-pro3551-18/p1221639
It is molded in black polycarbonate, so no painting needed. The body is pre-trimmed and comes with pre-cut Heatwave decals and a sheet of standard Ford/Pro-line decals that I will need to cut myself, though I will only be using a few of those, like the windows, front grill, and lights.

I think that you are linking the version that is for the Traxxas UDR, while I am linking (and bought) the version that is for the Traxxas Slash. The one for the UDR is much larger and I don't belive that it would fit a Senton 3S, while the version for the Slash is pretty much perfect.
