Much better lol.

Just need a few mods.
Was thinking about the RPM front and rear arms, along with the metal Spur gear and some uprated shocks and the CRCU motor mount. Is there anything else that would be beneficial or necessary for better handling, set up etc?

Also, can anyone tell me what the screws are for on the rear wing at the top as they don't seen to hold anything together

Nice truck bud👍 Mods I made to my 3s big rock was CRCU motor mount, the stock one bent in first couple bashes. Wouldn’t bother with metal spur, I’ve only stripped one due to motor mount bending, but since the upgrades if the mesh is set right you’ll be good. I have rpm arms but not installed yet, the stock arms have took soo much abuse. I did break 2 shocks so went with the proline 3s shocks there expensive, you can get the arrma 6s ones for cheaper. Also for cleaning if you can get yourself an air compressor they make cleaning soo much easier.

Thank you, as much as i would love an air compressor, as i live in a smaller house it don't have the space, the area i used to clean and strip (as seen in picture) is made from an old pc swivel chair and an old ikea shelf lol :D:D. I was thinking of a smaller say air brush compressor attached to my work chair lol, but not sure if it would be powerful enough.

when you say 6s shocks, do you mean ones from say a typhon or something?

I put RPM Typhon arms and Typhon turnbuckles on mine to widen the stance. It helps a lot with stability. Put a Senton 3s front bumper on it to give it a little more front-end crash protection.

I use a blower similar to this and it’s great. Super powerful.

Vorteks hybrid 🙃
Granite front shock tower (so I can run bigger front shocks)
Mojave front shocks on both ends
Typhon arms
TBone front bumper (but not connected to the shock tower)
MX28s
M2C 17mm hex adapters
Surpass 3670, 2850kv motor (with o-rings around end of the can)
Arrma 18t pinion (non-safe D)
Spectrum 130amp esc
Hot racing motor mount
All stock drive train (with a properly set slipper I don’t strip spurs, diffs or pop drive shafts.)

It’s my favorite go to car basically. I love how it rips.

You can buy cans of compressed air, not as powerful as an air compressor but still do the job. Yes the ones from the arrma 6s range, I’m not sure on the exact shocks you need, Im sure if make a thread about shocks you’ll get somebody to link you the right ones👍

I get my shocks and most stock parts from jennysrc.com. Here are the Mojave front shocks I use on the vorteks. I made the shock rod boots on mine out of black balloons and tiny zip ties.

You can also buy shock boots… I got a couple sets of these to try once my balloons wear out eventually.
