So I got a Latrax Teton for Christmas and plan on doing a bunch of upgrades, so this is the place I will keep track of everything I do. I already broke front A arm, front diff housing,
And three drive shafts, :banghead: already got hobby park aluminum drive shafts, and A arms are on the way.

Also a question, it came with a 7.2v 1200mah NiMH battery, so how many volts do I need to charge it to?

Thanks for the the help!!

It’s pretty fast. I built a back flip ramp and it did them perfectly, but you should look into buying aluminum driveshafts as I broke three in two days. And it also depend on how old they are.

My five yo sister drove it and went full throttle luckily I grabbed it before any damage was done😂 also where will he be driving it?

1.4-1.5v per cell or 8.4-9v total. Most if not all nimh chargers will charge it to the proper level. Charge at no more than 1.2 amps.

So planning on building a nice little 1/18 scale track when spring rolls around. So was just wondering what tires would be good for loose dirt on top and hard pack on bottom, and what a good brushless systems there are for around $50 dollars.

Thanks.

No I have not but those look nice.

So yesterday the hobbypark aluminum a arms arrived and they are extremely nice, bashed the heck out of them and they are fine although I broke a rear knuckle sending it of a 10th scale jump :banghead: so have to order one soon.

Here’s a few pics

Also are metal hubs worth it or will they just pull out the pins?

I would swap to metal hubs and plastic a arms, you are lucky you didn't break where the pins attach to the chassis.

Love the pink body, that a new color? I remember the original green, blue, and the orange colors but haven't seen a pink on yet, looking good have fun!
