LE led strip SIngle Color one's. I used Blue 2835, non waterprood and Red 2835 waterproof.
I used 5 tie wrap or Zip ties. Take 3 ties and place together, then take the other 2 ties and place one on each side, to make a perfect ractangler block. and take electrical tape however you like, I cut narrow strips and taped each end, and tape every so often. You want a flexible pole not to stiff as it must bend if flips over..
I then taken the led strips left the adhesive alone and used heat shrink to hold in place, soldered my leads and connections, added a JST plug as that is what I have with the 7.4vdc 2S battery. If you are using multi color leds you'll need a 3S 11.1v battery. Then I tie wrapped to my rear shock tower, and criss crossed tie wraps for added protection and a leveled hold.
If my writing is not to par you get the idea how to build it, the video shows the actual led strip, make it small, make it big. I liked it big. .
Any questions ask
