Hello so I got these cheep led lights for my kraton 6s blx but after 30 seconds they get super hot, the leds run on 4-6 volts so I figured my bec was to high so I set it to 6 volts and plugged it into the aux 1 slot and after 30 seconds they still get super hot. Any tips?? Thanks

These are the lights

Unfortunately, those are designed and rated for 5V only.. Anything over that will shorten it's life expectancy...
You could try to mount them onto some aluminum bars to act like heatsinks but that's just a temporary fix..

What you really want to use is LED rated at 12V so it won't be overvoltaged.

Good luck.

I'm seeing 4-6V in that Amazon description? But they may be exaggerating a bit :)

You might be able to add an inline diode, to drop the voltage somewhat. Or I guess if you really wanted, you could add a mini 5V BEC/voltage regulator. But that's getting more clumsy, just to deal with lights. May be simpler/cheaper to get ones that can handle the voltage.

it's normal for the lights to get hot, i have the same ones, running at 6v
