I think I ordered the wrong lights.. got them from Ebay and they said it would work with arrma but it doesn't look like it. Did I get the wrong kit??

Looks like you'll need to change the plug before you can determine if it'll work. You need a kit with a Futaba style servo plug.

On my Noto., using the same Tactic TR325 I wired 1 rear 3mm led and an Attack 2 inch light bar( from My Trick RC) at the front. I am using the 3rd channel buttons on the TR for an On-Off switching. But you will need to add an inexpensive (Apex) Controller in-line to utilize that 3rd channel for control. Or you can just plug straight into the RX for "On-Always" lighting. The Controller is very small and I fit that into the RX Box no issues. I have no issues with brown-outs. The RX has 6V/3amp BEC that seems to handle the lights well.
Consider how and where you mount your lights as they will get a lot of abuse and may not last long bashing if they get hit. I have the same setup on my Not.,Kraton and Tekno MT. The Kraton light bar has been ripped apart many times. But the bar itself still lights up. My Trick RC makes some really strong Light bars. They are made out of a composite plastic. They include all types of mounting brackets. I am sold. Price is not bad. But there are many other Lightbars out there made of plastic and aluminum. RPM has them too. But don't include mounting brackets last I saw. and they are like double the price.
