Hi there,
I just received a couple of "paddle tires" from AliExpress to go on a 2x4 Fury for sand bashing and... I received 2 "right" tires!

These are very much designed to crawl in sand/snow, so left and right tires should be "mirrored", so having two of the same side is kind of... well.
Anyone had that kind of experience? Would an order of a set of 4 get a better chance? Any experience with incorrect orders from this seller?

Thanks for sharing.

Unfortunately, a lot of tires are sold like this.
Paddles are the only ones you can make a case for, though.
I don't see you having a problem with replacements. (y)

I had this issue with these tires.
Though they don't have the same negative impact as paddles
do being wrong, they sure bugged me!

Are they glued? Turn the tire around.
You might have a hard time with customer service. To someone not in the know, you got exactly what you ordered- 2 functional paddle tires.

They are not glued, but the inside and outside are extremely different. Outside is like 2 cm between the top of the tire and the rim, when inside is barely 1cm.
That's the first thing I tried ;-)

Progress:

I contacted the seller through the application, no response after a few days.
I contacted AliExpress directly through the app, they asked for photos, seemed to understand the issue and consider it could be a valid complaint, and the opened a "dispute".
Next day, I received messages saying I could return the tires for no fee and be refunded. I got a label to print and am returning it today. (Destination is actually "local" so should be quick to process).

don't hesitate to open a dispute in the future. If it dosent get resolved, the seller gets some sort of demerit - and they try real hard to avoid those, desperately at times in my experience. If the complaint goes directly to the merchant, it can be ignored. If it goes through ali, they cant. Im guessing ali will kick bad merchants quickly and having a spot on ali is worth a good deal of business. With the time zone difference, you usually don't get a reply till that night or the next, so conversations go slow.
Real nice to know they gave you a label and its local.

Refund has been done in the following hours of me sending the parcel. I suppose they had the notification of the parcel being processed by the post office.
I don't have my tires, but I got my money back.

A warning for free.
