Hey guys, I was looking to order a Dynamite product and I saw it listed here https://www.dynamite-us.com/ on their supposedly official website for almost 70% cheaper than I've seen it any other place. Can someone confirm if this the real legit website for Dynamite before I place my order? Thanks in advance.

Dynamite is a Horizon Hobby brand. If you're not buying from a HH branded website or dealer, you're not getting the real thing - if you get anything. The old saying goes, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

For what its worth, that website is registered out of China:

It’s a scam. They have those popping up all over the place. I could have bought a MBX8R for $70 bucks. Don’t do it.
I figured, did some more digging and found that the physical address they have listed is the same bogus address as a bunch of other scam sites. Thanks man.

In the future for yourself, or anyone else who reads this thread, you can check ownership of a domain name here: https://lookup.icann.org/en/lookup

When looking up a domain, using Arrma Forum as an example, only put arrmaforum.com in the search box. Don't include the "https://www." or anything else after the .com .net .org, etc. For example you would take "https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/legit-dynamite-website-check.59958" and reduce it to "arrmaforum.com".

This information can be a bit confusing however because businesses and individuals can hide their registrant address and business contact names with proxy/privacy services their domain registrar offers. Generally though, if you see the proxy/privacy service linked to a US address, its likely legit if its a US based business.

Thanks, that's good to know! 👍
