My son built this orchid for his mom for Christmas.

Mrs Doom has the bonsai tree but hasn't put it together yet, she was eyeballin' that orchid too. :)
My son wants the bonsai for his birthday this month.

Disneyland Paris Lego store

About the same size as the one we visited in centre of Paris. Although this one had a Build a minifigure machine as well as the hands on minifigure building.

The Lego sign and the pictures in the shop window were made of Lego too.

I would love to have a scoop full of those mini fig heads, I would tap a hole in the top and string 'em on a bracelet or necklace. (y)
I looked on the wall of lego colours for heads but they didn't have any. Mostly bricks. We were not allowed to buy the heads in that photo separately. They were just for the "build a minifigure" only.

I was looking for Marvel minifigures but they don't sell them. I think that series is finished.

I’m looking forward to getting the new Ghostrider set. 76245. My son will get it for his birthday mid month.

So cool!!! Man, the things you can build with all those pieces!! 😂

My son and I love Legos too. Not really collectors (well, he has like 20 small-med sets he's collected from bdays and xmas, most boxed away).

If you've read a lot of my posts, you know I love nostalgia stuff. 😁 So being a huge TV/movie fan, I had to get the Friends Central Perk (with light kit), the Friends apartments, and I have Seinfeld's apartment. Got some Skins ones too.

Would love to get the Sesame Street and Flintstones ones!!! (y)

My son has a few Star Wars ones (currently he's working on Vader he got for xmas) and a whole bunch of Minecraft ones....some in disrepair on his shelf. (He's all about gaming on his desktop).

Awesome. I considered getting the "The Office" set but I don't have anywhere to display it.

I love that Costanza has the marble rye from Schnitzer's(sp?) on the fishing pole!!🤣😅😂

Anyone here like Lego. It can be as addictive as RC's. I was into it as a young lad. I would build trucks and flatbed trailers, buildings etc. I recently started collecting Marvel minifigures with my son and he has my old lego which we gets out every now and then.

While in Paris, we can across this amazing Lego mega store. Well I'm not sure if its an actual Mega store, but its the biggest I've seen. It had everything, kits, BIG builds, minifigures, build your own minifigures, every kind of block, display builds etc etc.

Most of the big display builds were behind glass understandably, so some of my photos have reflections. The photos don't do them justice as some of those builds are as tale as my son.

I know @Doom! Has a collection. 😉

Old lego
I am into those buildings stones but not from L.... they are equal to Traxxas by putting not needed lawsuits on small shops and private people by pretending to secure their product but the things they put on the table are just lame excuses. So I don't buy anything from them. I like things from other companies and I try to find out if they have "stolen" the plan from creators. And yes its addictive as well :D

I have bought stuff from other companies because they had some cool stuff, but in the end was disappointed because they didn't hold up over time like Lego does. The knockoff brands cracked and got brittle. Not saying there aren't good ones out there, but my experience wasn't a positive one.

Edit. I do still my some aftermarket bits and pieces like weapons and stuff, just not full sets from the chinese companies that are blatant knockoffs.

The other thing I will say is Lego has the best quality control out of any product I have purchased. Out of the hundreds of sets of Lego we have purchased I have never recieved a set with missing or damaged parts. Pretty impressive considering the actual amount of individual parts that equals.

My wife and kid are heavy into Legos. They have tons and she got a whole bunch of the flower collection for Christmas. She has been trying to get me to sit and build them with her for the last few days. I got in ‘trouble’ yesterday because I said I would, then disappeared into the garage building a car. I didn’t mean to forget, I just got distracted when I walked into the garage.

I mean, nobody sits and builds cars with me. To each their own, right? Nope. I have to spend at least an hour building Lego stuff today 😅
