Anyone here like Lego. It can be as addictive as RC's. I was into it as a young lad. I would build trucks and flatbed trailers, buildings etc. I recently started collecting Marvel minifigures with my son and he has my old lego which we gets out every now and then.

While in Paris, we can across this amazing Lego mega store. Well I'm not sure if its an actual Mega store, but its the biggest I've seen. It had everything, kits, BIG builds, minifigures, build your own minifigures, every kind of block, display builds etc etc.

Most of the big display builds were behind glass understandably, so some of my photos have reflections. The photos don't do them justice as some of those builds are as tale as my son.

If you have some lego feel free to show us. Let this be the official Lego thread on this forum.

I know @Doom! Has a collection. 😉

Some of my(our) minifigures collection.

Old lego

Very cool! My daughter has some Lego and my parents still have my old stuff. The Mandalorian Razor Crest is really cool. I built my own version but it fell apart

I ve been thinking about this as it might be a bit lesser cost than RC, but I love the extra the RC brings: the variables of how you set it up and that you gotta maintain it.

We got some duplo for the kids and we build things with it always, but for me alone Lego would not be enough

Have some sets at home:
Land Rover Defender - 42110, as we have an 1987 LR 90 (Defender) ourselves. Unfortunatly the only Lego Defender is the new one
Fiat 500 - 10271, also a car we own.
Super Street Sensation - 8448-1, the last big set I bought when I was a kid.
The son also has some Lego (City) sets in his room. Also the pull-back Monster Jam monster trucks.

A lot more Lego and Lego Technic is at my parents house. Even some sets in bits that my dad build when he was young.

Last year, and in 2019, we visited Legoland in Billund Denmark 2 times during our summer holiday in Denmark. Great park for adults and kids. The creations they make are unbelievable.

Thankfully having a kid has given me an excuse to get ridiculous amounts of legos as an adult.

"Yeah, this new lego kit is for the kid...."
😆 that's how I got my first RC car. 🤣

Lego is definitely not cheap. Can be an expensive hobby. But there is a big second hand lego market.

Share some photos when your ready. 👍👍

Absolutely. Legos are awesome and encourage creative thinking and play. Gave my daughter and her friends a bunch of baseplates and they build their own houses and shops from parts and they build their own towns and play. Their school even has a Lego STEM class for the kids.

Awesome. I've still got some old grey road plates. Not sure if they still make them or not.

We are off to Disneyland Paris tomorrow and they have a Lego store as well. Should be good.

I can imagine they would have some impressive builds.

Awesome stuff!

I got this guy for Christmas this year - have not started it yet:

My 7yo and I have been building kits together for years. He loves Minecraft and we have built a bunch of those kits. He is now the builder, I am just the piece gatherer. He reads the instructions and is getting really good at it. It is great building with him. We just built his newest one from Santa last week.

personally always been a fan of the Model Team range. Here are a couple that i still have buildView attachment 267028
Love it. I like the highway trucks. I used to try and build trucks like that as a child but not from a build kit, just using what lego I had at the time.

@Warby I am so jealous right now!

Mrs Doom and I have been collecting Lego kits for 30 years. Collecting might be the wrong word since we play with ours. Our collection is pretty large. I am definitely a LEGOMANIAC!

This is a little less than half of our minifigs. I really need to get some new photos.
