Couldn't get away for long this weekend but did a quick overnight camp-'n-crawl last night. Didn't make it out unscathed...lost a link end and discovered these wheel nuts need some lock washers.

I put a new set of Injora tires in my FMS 1/24 crawler. I'm really liking this little crawler. These new tires have a nice soft, slightly tacky compound.

Of course now I need to order another set of tires, so I can have a matching tire on the spare.

Had some fun with the boy bashing the trx4 with the granite, i cracked a 14mm hub on the proline wheels, so we threw the 12mm hubs on and chucked them on the sport for laughs. Also stretched the stock trx tires onto a set of cheap alloy 2.2 wheels i had, also for laughs. Running the basher wheels on the sport came at a price though, cracked a front portal input at the axle

This is actually one of the few I have that started life as an RTR, so it's painted this way from Axial.

I just bought these two. Built by maxsdrc. Got some changes for the Taco lined up, the JT is pretty much done aside from some SSD bits on the end of the axles I want to add.

Nice! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the IFS kit on the Taco. I used to run one on a truck that I used as a pre-runner in sand trails, but I never tried crawling with it and I don't have that truck anymore.

The diff tends to get in the way but with the relocation kit it should be a little better than the OE. I suspect I'll have to modify my approach and lines to accomplish the same thing in a straight axle rig. I don't have huge expectations for it, but I suspect it'll be pretty decent as is.
